Our MissionPreserving Hadley's rural beauty, safeguarding its natural resources, and insuring the health and safety of its residents and neighbors while promoting sensible growth. WHO WE AREHadley Neighbors for Sensible Development (HNSD) is a group of Hadley residents concerned about Hadley's future. Like many small towns across the U.S., Hadley is experiencing severe development pressures that threaten the infrastructure of our town. Already plagued by excessive traffic, poor air quality, not enough water to meet current demands, and increasing noise levels, Hadley has initiated a long-range planning process to help resolve some of these issues. HNSD believes that democratic participation can create fair solutions to these challenges, and create revenue generating development that maintains Hadley's character and respects its planning goals while protecting our precious farmland. We recently received a small a grant from New England Grassroots Environmental Fund, and we welcome donations from Hadley residents who are concerned about these isssues, in order to continue producing our newsletter. |
